The gills of Psilocybe semilanceata are dim brown. Young shrooms might have greyer-wanting gills, and more mature shrooms might have gills that search almost black. The stems from the Liberty Cap are slender and comparatively prolonged for the size from the cap. They can be pin-straight or wa
